Tech Startups (App Developers)

Once you’ve developed your killer app or online platform, the final piece of the puzzle is a stable and organised working environment.

At Steamhaus we understand that your resources are at their most effective when they’re focused on what you specialise in, rather than being distracted by infrastructure management. That’s why we deal with all the hosting nitty-gritty, making sure that your environment is stable, available and specialised to your business.

Whether you’re cloud-curious, or a full-on cloud fanatic, we’ll help you embrace the power of the cloud.

See how we've helped Bunting improve the efficiency and reliability of their code deployments.

How we can help App Developers

We help you focus on the most important aspects of your business.

You’ll have the ability to create new environments instantly, allowing you to focus on developing new features, rather than waiting for a traditional hosting company or datacentre to provision new infrastructure. This rapid workflow is continued throughout the cycle, allowing you to move applications into production and automatically scale them on demand.

We help you embrace the DevOps philosophy, which results in reduced deployment times, allowing you to bring new features to market quickly, more frequently and with complete confidence.

We act as an extension of your existing team to troubleshoot and resolve bugs and performance bottlenecks in your application’s codebase, reducing response times and increasing stability.

Our aim is to understand you and your aspirations, enabling us to act as an extension of your team. This continual partnership results in an environment that will be consistently:

  • Faster
  • Secure
  • Fault-tolerant
  • Cost-effective
  • Geographically distributed if necessary
  • Hosted in the most appropriate way for your websites or application

The end result is a stable, secure hosting environment that can deal with anything you or your users can throw at it.

Our architects are experts in all things cloud and have extensive knowledge in the common platforms and applications that typical app developers use.

How we’ve helped our customers

Bunting began as a click fraud prevention tool but quickly evolved into website personalisation and are now trusted by website owners of all sizes across the globe.

bunting<<When Bunting came to us they were growing incredibly quickly and needed a solution with superior hosting and support capabilities.

After discussions with Bunting about their current environment and future needs we proposed our AWS Management package as a starting point.

As part of the new platform we suggested a database schema that would allow for the Bunting application to be far more responsive and under less stress, eventually allowing the platform to auto-scale. It must be noted that financially the package Bunting took with us was comparable to their solution at the traditional hosting company.

Bunting’s move to AWS has been beneficial to both them and their customers. Their application responds to requests three times quicker than previously, whilst at the same time being at less than half the load of the previous solution.

As we’re a partner of Bunting, we’re continuing to work as an extension of their team. We’re working to bring modern development workflows and the latest technologies to the Bunting service. Working closely together and having a strong level of trust has proven what can be achieved in a very short amount of time.

Our migration and re-architecture process

Being hosting-agnostic allows us to create a service that isn’t restricted by a particular environment. It frees us from following the standard process of having a hosting platform first and offering management as an afterthought.

We’ll take care of everything for you using the following process:
