Nicky is one of our Site Reliability Engineers—here to help our customers with their sites/applications, and to ensure that everything not only runs smoothly, but continues to do so as they grow.
Nicky started as a Windows Engineer in 2006, before moving to Linux systems in 2010. He worked with Linux until 2017, when he then moved to cloud engineering at a digital distribution company which operates in Europe, the US, and China. In this role, Nicky worked on multiple cloud projects, including a cinema live-streaming platform, a cinema point of sale platform, and a datacentre content distribution platform.
Outside of work, Nicky loves music—regularly going to gigs and playing the guitar at an advanced level. He also lived in Malia and became a DJ—even though he had zero experience of actually DJing. Fortunately, he’s experienced when it comes to site reliability engineering, so no winging it is necessary.
