Steamhaus Joins Fast Flow Conference in London

Steamhaus attended Fast Flow Conference UK in London on 14th & 15th October as a platinum sponsor, exploring Team Topologies, Platform Engineering, and modernising apps with GenAI and architectural intelligence.

Last week, the Steamhaus team joined hundreds of engineers, platform practitioners, and tech leaders at Fast Flow Conference UK, a community-led event focused on Team Topologies, Platform Engineering, and creating better ways of working across teams and organisations.

As a platinum sponsor, we joined the conference keynote and were proud to host our hands-on workshop, “Architecture + GenAI: Better Together for Modernising Complex Apps,” alongside our partner vFunction.

The session explored how Generative AI and architectural intelligence can help enterprises modernise complex applications, demonstrating practical approaches using tools like vFunction, Amazon Q Developer, and AWS’s Experience-Based Acceleration (EBA) methodology.

It was especially exciting to see Platform Engineering get a dedicated track for the first time this year. At Steamhaus, platform engineering is at the core of what we do, helping organisations build internal developer platforms that reduce deployment lead times and creating self-service infrastructure that gives teams autonomy to ship fast within secure, governed guardrails.

Fast Flow’s core principles were really brought to life across the conference - from optimising team structures and value streams to enabling flow in real organisations.
